In 2008, Media Molecule and Sony launched the ambitious platform game Little Big Planet. It provided players with a wide range of tools that they could use to create their own gaming experiences. Little Big Planet was a huge success, selling millions of copies when it was released and receiving worldwide acclaim.

While major Little Big Planet games place a high priority on user-generated content, Sack boy is a more traditional platform. Inspired by titles such as Super Mario 3D World, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, the four players complete a variety of platform challenges in themed-worlds with their own gimmicks and aesthetics.

The more fascinating aspect of Little Big Planet games is the art style. How game worlds are always made with real-world objects? It takes that design sensibility along with players, created from paper over everyday household items in the world. There are cute little touches everywhere like making water with blue glitter. Each stage is packed with collectible costume pieces that players can use to fully customize their sackboy, not to mention some that can be purchased from the in-game store. Players are free to combine and match cosmetics in the game, including emotes.

Emotes are Useful at the End of Levels

The game zooms in on players and gives them time to celebrate their victory. The player with the best performance given a trophy and their picture is taken. Other player has the opportunity to smack the trophy out of their hands.

It can be fun at first, but by the end of the game, sackboy players want to skip this end-level score counting and celebration altogether so they can get to the next level as fast as possible. There is a fast forward option, but it still takes some time.

Nit picks aside, we’ll be at a loss if we do not mention the best level genres of Sackboy. They are steps set to licensed music. The songs include hits such as Bruno Mars ‘”Uptown Funk” and Britney Spears’ “Toxic”, which move in a deliberate way. Enemies always strike music and highlight lyrics.

Sackboy: Emotes are useful at the end of levels

Along with gimmicks like the grappling hook and the boomerang, these musical levels go a long way in determining the sackboy. There are varieties in A Big Adventure and never boring.
