    Why is my computer not discoverable on the network?

    In some cases, the Windows computer may not be displayed in the network neighborhood due to incorrect workgroup settings. Try adding this computer to the workgroup again. Go to Control Panel -> System and Security -> System -> Change Settings -> Network ID.

    To change a Wi-Fi network to public or private

    1. On the right side of the taskbar, select the Wi-Fi network icon.
    2. Under the name of the Wi-Fi network you’re connected to, select Properties.
    3. Under Network Profile, select Public or Private.
